Hopes & Dreams

On Sunday 13th November we were thrilled to attend the Hopes & Dreams Charity Quiz night in Woodford, Essex. It was a fun filled night, full of laughs and entertainment put on by Hopes & Dreams’s tireless team of staff and trustee’s. Mitch and the family were honoured to be making their first donation to one of their favourite charities, knowing it will help them to continue their amazing work. Not only did the Foundation table have our first donation to celebrate, but we also managed to win the ten round quiz too!

The £10k donation from AWF has already allowed for an all expenses trip for one child and three members of his family to go to Disneyland in Florida in January 2012, and will also go towards another 1-2 dreams for other chronically, seriously or terminally ill children.

Hopes & Dreams is a voluntary registered charity, whose aim is to turn the hopes and dreams of chronically, seriously or terminally ill children into reality.

The committee members of Hopes & Dreams arrange fundraising events throughout the year. Our aim is to fulfil the dreams of terminally and chronically ill children and young adults whether it be meeting their favourite singer or band, going to see their chosen football team, and meeting the players, going to see a show, visiting a theme park etc.

Keep up the great work Mitch. Amy’s spirit, love and genorosity will always live on. And Joanna Lumley is absolutely fabulous.
